The PET Bottle Launcher, a $370 bazooka-like toy from Marudai in Japan, lets you do a shoulder-mounted take on a classic middle school physics demo. Just put some water in a 1-liter bottle, screw it onto the end of the tube, use a bike pump to pressurize the contents, aim, and fire. Whoosh! The plastic projectile sails over cubicle walls. Just don’t do it too often. Our ad sales folks are already starting to get that 1,000-yard stare.
