Editor Genevieve Ip has produced a stunning clip titled Filmography of 2012. Like her previous filmographies for 2010 and 2011, Ip has pulled in footage from an insane number of films — over 300 this time — weaving them together and exposing the common themes prevalent in cinema this year. The result is a beautifully cut montage that accurately depicts film’s position as a reflection of our cultural attitudes. Ip has also published a complete list of the films and music used in the compilation on her blog.
